Description: Guado al Tasso is a fine Bolgheri wine from the homonymous estate owned by the Marchesi Antinori. It is one of the most renowned Italian Supertuscans, one of the most famous and appreciated Italian expressions in the world, obtained from the Bordeaux blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. The ripest bunches of the grapes are carefully selected, then fermented for a short period in steel barrels, and then aged in wood for a year at the end of which, the best wines are put together to rest another 6 months in small barrels before bottling. The Bolgheri Rosso Superiore Tenuta Guado al Tasso wine shows a fascinating deep ruby red to the eye, with an intense and complex bouquet of ripe red fruit, spicy and woody scents, notes of chocolate and leather. The sip is harmonious and balanced, very persistent and extremely elegant.
